Your guided tour will start with a pickup from your hotel, from here you will take the journey to Seltun geothermal area, the drive will take about 1 hour. Once you are there you will be engulfed in the sulphuric smell of the geothermal area, you can explore the surrounding springs while marvelling at the intense colours of the hill side this marvel is set in.

Next you will arrive at the steaming volcanic site of Fagradalsfjall. During your exploration of the site you will get up close to the once flowing red hot lava field. The lava fields still remain smoking hot and still emits intense heat.

The formation of the volcanic crater in Geldingadalur Valley can be seen from the view point. As you hike up, the scale of this volcanic eruption is revealed. The hike on average takes 30 minutes to the view point. you will have plenty of time to take pictures and rest as needed. Your Guide will explain the geology of the area along with finding you a souvenir to take home. The volcanic rocks in the area hold a beautiful secret that should not be missed.

Once you have descended you will head for lunch at the local chic cafe. You can grab something simple as a refreshing juice or fill up on the local fish cuisine.

After you will have a leisurely stroll of Brimketill Sea Pools, where the powerful ocean meets the lava fields, here you can see the intense power of the Atlantic crashing and carving the pools. 

Your journey will continue to Gunnuhver Hot Spring where you can see an old settlement nestled around a gigantic steaming hot spring. The spring holds a secret of its own and your guide will detail the story.

Reykjanes Lighthouse stands on the edge of the peninsula on the crumbling sea cliffs, the light house has been moved once to ensure its survival. You will visit the site and marvel at the views from the light house grounds.

Before returning to the city you will have the chance to walk between two continents, the Bridge between continents spans over the North American and Eurasian divide, you can dart from one side to the other in a mater of seconds or gaze at the land being ripped apart before your eyes.
