The most important thing you need to bring on a private tour of the Reykjanes Peninsula is the right clothing, as the weather in Iceland can be unpredictable.

Here are the key recommended items:

• Layers: Dress in layers so you can add or remove clothing as the temperature changes. This is the key to managing the unpredictable Icelandic weather.
• Waterproof and Windproof Outerwear: A jacket and trousers that will keep out water and wind are essential, as you'll be spending time outdoors exploring the geothermal and volcanic areas.
• Warm Clothing: Bring a warm sweater or fleece, along with a hat and gloves or mittens.
• Good Hiking/Walking Shoes: Sturdy, comfortable shoes with good grip are necessary, especially if you plan to walk on lava fields or uneven trails.

For all bookings of day tours, a minimum of 24 hours' notice prior to your scheduled departure is required in order to receive a full refund. If a cancellation is made with less than 24 hours notice, no refund is given.

For all bookings of multi-day and custom private tours, a minimum of 72 hours' notice prior to your scheduled departure is required in order to receive a full refund. If a cancellation is made with less than 72 hours' notice, no refund is given*
