About Hólastígur
Hólastígur er gömul þjóðleið á milli Gufuskála og Saxhóls. Tilvalið er að ganga leiðina, sem er stikuð, í tveimur áföngum. Um miðbik leiðarinnar er bílastæði á móts við Móðulæk. Þægileg, 2 km löng ganga er frá Móðulæk að gígnum Saxhóli. „Hægt er að ganga upp á barm gígsins en fylgja þarf stígnum þar sem gígurinn er mjög viðkvæmur fyrir öllu raski. Töluverður bratti og lausir hraunmolar á leiðinni. Útsýni er gott þegar upp er komið“. Leiðin að Gufuskálum frá Móðulæk er 3 km löng og gengið er „um sendið, flatlent gönguland þar sem víða eru fallegir melatíglar og melarendur. Komið er niður hjá fiskbyrgjunum ofan Gufuskála.“
