Private Thorsmork Valley 4x4 Super Jeep Adventure from Reykjavik

Reach Þórsmörk, the Valley of Thor, on a private day in a Super Jeep built to cross the unbridged glacial rivers that keep this green valley between three glaciers so hard to reach. The vehicle and your local driver-guide are only for your group, so the pace is yours. Your guide meets you at your accommodation or cruise terminal with a VAREN name tablet, helps with your bags and has water on request. The day starts on the South Coast, where you can walk behind Seljalandsfoss and find Gljúfrabúi hidden in a mossy canyon. Then the Super Jeep leaves the ring road for the F249 track, fording rivers past the Gígjökull glacier tongue. Inside the reserve you walk into the narrow Stakkholtsgjá canyon and have time to explore the valley at Básar. Water levels and weather decide the day, so crossings and stops may change, always with your safety first. The Super Jeep takes up to 5 guests, one price per vehicle.
