Itinerary

   Day 1 — Arrival in Iceland

   • Arrive in Iceland and travel on your own to your hotel for an overnight stay in Reykjavík. Enjoy your first evening exploring the city’s charming restaurants, shops, and cultural sights.

   Day 2 — Golden Circle Tour

   • Experience Iceland’s most popular day tour — the Golden Circle. The Golden Circle includes visits to the rift valley at Þingvellir National Park, the erupting hot spring Strokkur at the Geysir geothermal area, and the powerful Gullfoss waterfall. Þingvellir is a UNESCO World Heritage Site where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet. Known for its dramatic landscapes, crystal-clear waters, and historical significance as the site of Iceland’s first parliament, it offers both natural beauty and cultural depth. Note: The Golden Circle Tour operates on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Therefore, it may not always take place on day 2 of your trip — the exact day will depend on which weekday you book. This will also determine the order of any optional tours you choose to include in your itinerary.
   • The Geysir Geothermal Area is home to steaming vents, bubbling hot springs, and the famous Strokkur geyser, which erupts every few minutes. Visitors can experience Iceland’s geothermal power up close in this lively and ever-changing landscape.
   • Gullfoss, or the “Golden Falls,” is one of Iceland’s most iconic waterfalls. Cascading in two dramatic stages into a rugged canyon, it creates powerful mist and rainbows on sunny days, making it a highlight of the Golden Circle route.
