Ride across the historic Svínahraun lava field, follow rugged trails through moss-covered lava, and experience an active geothermal area just outside Reykjavík. Duration: 1 hour Shared ATV (2 People per ATV): 2 people share 1 ATV and can switch drivers during the tour if both hold a valid driver’s license.
1 Hour Tour – 1 Person per ATV
Duration: 1 hour Single rider ATV: This option is for 1 person per ATV. A valid driver’s license is required to drive.
2 Hour Tour - Shared ATV
Duration: 2 hours Shared ATV (2 People per ATV): 2 people share 1 ATV and can switch drivers during the tour if both hold a valid driver’s license.
2 Hour Tour – 1 Person per ATV
Duration: 2 hours Single Rider: This option is for 1 person per ATV. A valid driver’s license is required to drive.

What to expect
- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- Suitable for all physical fitness levels
- Each adult is allowed to accompany one youth only. Additional youths must be accompanied by another adult.
- A valid driver’s license is required to drive an ATV.
- Please be at Litla Kaffistofan at least 15 minutes prior to departure.
- If your booking includes an odd number of participants, one Single Rider must be booked, as vehicles are shared by two people.
